​One of the greatest needs in the world is food for the poor.  There are starving close to death people all over the planet. Some are more fortunate than others to get just a bowl of a soup a day at a homeless shelter rather than the kids and families in another country who may only have a piece of rotten bread that they can find, if that. World hunger is definitely a global issue. Food is a necessity for human survival on planet earth, therefore making sure that every human has something (not rotten) to eat rather small proportion or big is a must in society. In the article “Southern Sudan in Hunger Crisis”, it is very clear that there are many different reasons as to why people may not have food around the world.  Some do not have food because their countries are trying to control its people so they strip away their source of strength by taking away their food and making their people starve. Also you will find killing aid workers who try and help to bring people food from around the world is a common way of controlling their citizens.  Wars are another reason why regular “innocent” citizens are sometimes denied food, when their land is taken over by the enemy, with majority of other countries, their land lacks the resources they need to grow the main foods with nutrients, and vitamins needed for the human body’s survival. No matter the cause of hunger all citizens of each country should help one another to feed the hungry. Not just the homeless some have homes and are still hungry. There are children who go to school on weekdays who are able to eat healthy while at school, then on the weekends when they are at home with their families they starve until joyful Monday morning comes.  We as the one and only human race should work together to help one another by giving food and decrease the percentage rates of world hunger.http://www.philly.com/philly/news/nation_world/20121019_In_the_World.html
