The tiff over Gaza between Israle and Hamas took a deadly
turn earlier today. Many rockets were fired across the city of Gaza causing
many casualties and deaths. There were no signs that this was going to happen.
"despite entreaties for restraint by world leaders including President
Obama and Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations secretary general, who planned a
visit there in coming days. If anything, the Israelis intensified their attacks
on Gaza after the Tel Aviv scare and made new moves toward a possible ground
invasion."(Gladstone). The minister of defense sees now the seriousness of
this, and now understands that the probelms have officially escaladed. The
Egyptian people, the Egyptian leadership, the Egyptian government and all of
Egypt is standing with all its resources to stop this assault, to prevent the
killing and the bloodshed of Palestinians,” Mr. Morsi said in nationally
televised remarks before a crisis meeting of senior ministers All in all it is
just another day in the middle east I feel. There are onstantly land disputes
and such problems going on, and everyone seems to feel the answer to all of the
world's problems is war, and no one really knows what for.
